The second, third and other cars following also can argue in court that you/they where just staying with the traffic flow.
Yes you could argue that. You would lose.

In my experiance, the police always pull over the car that is leading when several are breaking the speed limit.
In my experience, the cops usually pull the car behind the front car or the last car in a pack if they are close together. The car behind is the limit pusher.

An old, rickety, 1991 Accord SE. 105 in it is pretty scary, lol. I'm impressed you could tell by the speedo.

I was following two people at high speeds a month or two back and we got NAILED by a radar trap doing 90+ all of us, and we were all speeding up. I was behind a BMW, who was behind an eclipse (girl driving). She was further ahead doing at least 100. Cop pulled out and I knew somebody was going to get it, so I pulled into the center lane and he flicked his lights and got the eclipse. Whoo hoo!

I speed all the time, and I've never been pulled over. Then again, I'm white and I drive a big pickup, so the cops probably take me as a Good Ol' Boy.![]()
