I've been having a bit of trouble with 2 computers I'm setting up. here's the scennario:
The Motherboard is an ASUS cuv4x-ls with the asus LS99 lan/scsi card, Matrox g400 (one with a g450) and 2 seagate scsi drives, everything goes nice and dandy until I install windows 2000 professional: if freezes (exacly) half-way through the plug'n'play device search.
I've tried everything:
switching the flat-cables, switching scsi controllers, harddrives, videocards, re-configure the BIOS over and over, flash it to the latest possible version... I'm baffled.
ideas, anyone?
