In ATOT, the graphics don't even try to hit.
F for lack of effort.
BTW, the monetary potential is merely a bonus, not a primary justification. You don't intend to make money off of ATOT, do you? When people play everquest, they're playing a game. Passing time in a much similar way that I've passed however many minutes it takes to reach 1500+ posts. That's a lot of time. And yeah, I could have worked at McDonalds and made more money than I could have gotten posting here. But that's not really the issue, is it?
It's an online community. I could point to the "god damn" high post counts of some individuals and say that Anandtech consumes their life. They find something in real life, they post it on the boards. They have a bad day, they post it on the boards. Something goes awesome for them, "woot! woot!" is sure to hit Anandtech.
Everquest is functionally equivalent, except that it doesn't stop at the alias, icon, and posted messages.
Edit: Plus one more point: you *can* subscribe to Anandtech.

People tend to forget that its just a god damn game and it shouldn't consume your life.
