Sounds like a great idea - the liquor store. 😉
I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your position. If you do party tonight, don't overdo it. Remember, tomorrow will be another day -- and a day to get your feet back on the ground. Feel free to P.M. once you start your search - I'm a few months into mine and could possibly provide some tips for you.

Not with me you havent!!!

Oh, laid OFF !

Sorry Bro, hope this gave you a laugh. All the best, you will do well. What is it you do again? 🙂

I've heard a lot of ppl have had sucess with it . My friend got his job from there.
Monster.com - and other similar Internet job posting / resumé sites are a great place to post your resumé. Approximately 26% of the jobs are achieved from site such as these. Don't overlook the use of them. Also, if you do post your resumé on a site such as this, ensure you update it on a weekly basis. By "update" - I don't mean a major update. Just open it up, add a space to it, save it - that's it. Most headhunting firms or recruiters only view the most recent resumés (e.g. - those that have been entered into the system or changed in the past 3 days.) Making a slight change to it frequently, will ensure that your resumé appears on the top of the search lists rather than not appearing at all.

Best of luck - it can only get better from this point forward. 🙂
