my sister's boyfriend beat her up today. apparently they were fighting over money.
i've posted about this idiot before. everyone saw it coming but my sister. the sad thing is its not the 1st time something like this has happened. hopefully she learned her lesson this time. if anything, she needs to get out of there because of the kid she had with this jackass.

Sometimes you have to draw the line. Any time I see a guy hit a girl, I get involved. It's not my place, but I can't help it. You let him hit your sister, more than once without doing a damn thing?

I think it's "whoop" his ass. I'll give you an A for the effort for trying to sound tough, but you still fail.

Wow, is she your older sister or younger.

If something like that happened to my sister. That guy would've gotten an ass whooping.

There is no excuse for partner abuse, whether it is the man hitting the woman, woman hitting the man, man hitting the man, woman hitting the woman, etc.

I am sorry to hear about what happend with your sister, and I hope that she has the strength and courage to leave her abusive partner.

I am not sure of the magnitude of the abuse, but here are some websites that you might want to pass along to her:

Leaving abuse

Deciding to leave

A plan for leaving an abusive relationship

Stages of leaving an abusive relationship

this forum is great. no matter the seriousness of the post, there's always plenty of people to come in and be assholes about it.

Yes you did. By doing nothing.

If you haven't talked with your sister now is the time. She needs to get away from that guy, if not for her than for the sake of the child. If you can't go toe-to-toe with the guy it doesn't mean nothing can be done. Go to a police station and talk with someone there about what can be done for her.

I'm a very passive guy but apparently I'm VERY protective of my family. Once at a hunted house there was a part where kids were throwing hubcaps at the floor to scare you. One missed my sister by an inch, I almost lost it.

DO NOT be afraid to stand up for your Sister.

Oh I don't know... be a brother perhaps? You don't have to go over there and shoot him to step up to the plate. At the very least you should have a good man-to-man about 2 inches from his face.
