Bush got rightfully nailed for Katrina.

Obama should be nailed for Deep Horizon.

Both are examples of how Government doesn't work.

Government doesn't have the slightest idea of how to help, or protect people. All they care about is their paycheck, and their power.

Its difficult to assume that only Louisiana will be thrown under the bus, even if she will be raped first, there is just something democratic about a massive oil spill the will decimate every gulf State given just a little more time , no matter how massive the BP or Federal government response will be.

The only bright spot may lie in warmer weather, allowing natural processes to biodegrade the oil in a shorter time period than a colder weather place like Alaska.

How long will the oil spill effects the longer term , a decade or more may be an underestimate. And that assumes the top kill or junk shot method can near plug the well now. Failing that, its hard to predict any end in sight.

After all, we are only at week five, and only in the last week has the first of the oil made it to US States, and next week, much more oil will come and keep on coming and coming and coming.

Coal mines, Oil wells,

There isn't much more that they can do, besides killing people and destroying the environment.

Nuclear plants, just boil water.

Doesn't get cleaner than that.

I'm hoping a hurricane has big enough waves to throw the oil into Washington. ;)
