The thing about Vegas is that if you stay out of the sun it's all good. Low humidity despite the extreme temps. As soon as you hit the sun though, your sack droops to the ground and it's just nasty.

Hit 100F today, heat index of 114F. Never does that in most of Florida. (Fort Lauderdale)

I walked out of my house and my glasses immediately fogged up. It feels like a Sauna out there, except considerably less relaxing. Its just gross :(

Well, that's what you get for living in florida. In Nevada when it gets that hot, it's like 8% humidity and we call it "a beautiful day"

Today it got into the upper 90's with >50% humidity. Was especially bad to get a quick 10 min shower before the sun came back out :|

Although not as bad as Sat where it got above 100 with similar humidity. By 8:30am it was already 80f with 80% humidity, and by the time I got out there to mow grass it was 90f and climbing. The hottest day of the year so far. I'm usually not a big fan of A/C but days like this make me incredibly thankful to whomever invented it!

edit: Just calculated what 100f with ~44% humidity is, it feels like 112f! Or HOT!

Don't you people have backyard pools in FLA? I would be in there all day in that situation, except for the 15 min showers you'll see multiple times a day. Just stereotyping.

I can't stand humidity, unfortunately I live in the Southeast and have to deal with it for now. The summer sucks, so much that I would like to move in the near future. Sure I have AC at work, in the house, car etc..but it's nice to get out. If you're active at all and I don't mean rock climbing and shit like that, just doing yard stuff, going for walks, maybe riding a bike you basically have to do that at the crack of fucking dawn or at night. During the day you melt. I thought I would get used to it but I actually hate it more each year. The humidity actually makes me feel like shit, I feel drained, get headaches and i'm in fairly good shape and I drink a lot of water.

You choose to live in Florida. The land of HOA.

And when most others in the US of A are cold, we are nice and warm.

Been close to 30C here in past week or so. It's great to FINALLY get hot weather. Once this ends though, it will probably be our summer gone. I hope this year this type of weather will last. Sick of rain. That's all we got last year.

I'm nice and warm as well and don't live in a land of HOA's or humidity. I just have to deal with a huge state wide deficit.

With so much rain here in Virginia its been super muggy, more then usuall. Temps usually are around 80-90F right now with about 80% Humidity. I wish it would stop raining for a week. Seems all it does is rain everyday this year.

I see you're in Philly? Count yourself lucky, I've seen the sun only a few times in the past few months, and not for more than a few minutes at a time. The upside though, is that with no sunlight the grass isn't growing and it hasn't been hotter than 70-75.
