This card will tear that up x1600, however. Reading some benchmarks, the 7600GS is more on the same level as the x1600xt.

Now if you WERE referring to it being able to beat an x1600PRO, then link us up on some benchmarks please if you are going to make claims like that.
The cards both have 400/800 DDR2, 12 pipes, and AGP 4x/8x. The main difference I see is the 7600gs default core clock is 400mhz and the x1600PRO is 500mhz.
If the 7600gs at 400mhz CAN ACTUALLY beat a x1600PRO all around then I will be impressed... althought at $159 i better be- lol!
