If programmimg is your thing, I suppose that's a good course, but in all reality, if you're looking to run a network, that $hit isn't gonna do much good for you. I know too many Systems Administrators with degrees who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. Sure, they can program an application that can do just about anything you want it to, but ask them to do some creative routing on a router or setup something as simple as a Microsoft Exchange server and they're complete and utter morons. When the pressure's on, a network needs someone who can think on their feet and make stuff start working again, not someone who has to code and compile an application to make themselves feel useful. Definitely if you're going to take this course, which you're encouraged to do from me, just make sure that in your spare time you get lots of hands on with server level software applications and concepts. Don't limit yourself to what they are gonna teach you.
