Horrible story? About 10 years back when I worked in the data center of a Fortune 10 company, a fellow employee had her children in on the weekend. Near each entrance/exit, we had emergency "power-off" buttons that would cut the power to the whole data center. Well, one of her children pushed the button and took everything down. 🙁

Following that incident, new rules were implemented on who could/could not be present in the data center.

I don't work in IT but I'm friends with one of ours (he's actually pretty knowledgable.) He gave me his old Dell P4 system to replace my P II. Man, it has so much crap/spyware on it and none of it is mine (I only go to a handful of trusted sites.) I can't even type a URL in now because the firewall blocks everything (some lycos spyware crap.) And Adaware hangs when I try to uninstall the 124 entries...

That's what formatting is for.

So I see you have been sheltered most of your life.

I understand. Although what does them having to be gay have anything to do with your work?

maybe with all those "gay" guys is the reason he is so upset he got fired. he missed out?

but i think you are stretching it. i doubt very much every was gay.

He doesn't want to format it, too much work. And did you read the part about the IT guy having spyware all over his company computer?

Yeah but you said he gave it to you. So it is yours now. So format the beast. And stop being such a weeny, there's a whole big internet out there for you to see.
