IT consultant directories?

I'm looking for independent IT consultants, or smaller IT consulting businesses in NYC, and was hoping there are directories most of these businesses would be registered with.

I'm not aware of any widely-used "directory" for IT consultants.

If you've got a particular product that you're trying to implement, the product developer can probably refer you to a service provider or VAR in your area that can help you with the product.

If you're just looking for local IT expertise, your local Chamber of Commerce may have a list of companies in your area that provide IT services.
