IT Certifications

Do employers really value IT certifications? I guess it depends, right? Some of them seem um... useless and unnecessary. Are any of you certified in a particular area?

yes.. but ONLY if you have the real life experience and REAL knowledge behind the cert..

Ive quizzed so called certified people with interview questions right off the tests and been dumbfounded by thier answers...

seems that half the "certified" people out there either cheated or memorized thier tests to get by.

certs without knowledge in IT is just as worthless as a IT degree with no experience.
