To whom it may concern,

My name is Lee Green and I am 77 year old grandmother/mother. I am posting here for my Grandson who has told me he has been banned from the site two times while trying to sell computer parts he has. He told me he is not sure why he was banned, and that you said he was logging on to the site anonymously by a proxy and that was against the rules. He has no idea what this means, nor do I. He told me that he signed back up and tryed to start fresh , but you closed his posts and banned him again. I do not believe this is very fair. My grandsons name were "mikekess" and "michaelli". To whoever it may concern, please let me know what we have to go about doing to sell our computer parts on this forum. He told me that you guys like this heatware feedback, unfortunatley I do not have any. I have over 350 positive ebay feedback and Michael has permission to use my feedback to sell his parts. Michael has also sold his laptop on this forum to a very nice man who sent a money order of $550 first, and the laptop was shipped today so he can start his heatware feedback. Here is a link to the latest thread you closed and banned of his.

No you can't sell his items here and yes he stays banned! You should also check out this posting from him.

Bent Pins.

He is a dishonest little boy who has no respect for our forum rules.

The internet has billions of websites. There is a thousand places he can sell his wares. No need to throw a fit over one that won't allow your kid.

He sold his laptop on here in one day, this is one of the best forums he and I have came across. If he is not welcomed here, I would like to personally sell his parts for him.

We hate liars. You were "new" on this forum as MikeKess, last week. Your previous account was locked pending review because you continued to violate forum rules.

Starting a new account instead of contacting us is to ask why your original account is locked is a bad idea. Saying your new to the forums does not speak well for you and strongly suggests we were right about banning you in the first place.

I am not here to argue with you guys. Michael did not know how to contact them so he thought making a new name and just starting over would be the best way to go. Can i please have permission to list my computer parts? If you are not a moderator, i'd really appreciate it if you didn't post in here, I was just looking to speak to the moderators and administrators. Thank you

Lee

That was me. Therin lies part of the problem. Mike was passing off phony ebay feedback as the link he posted wasn't to his feed back.
I would be very, very suprised if he was ever allowed to post here.

I reviewed Michaels posts and the only feedback he ever linked you to was mine, which about 40 of the comments are from things he has sold or bought, so he has permission to use it. I will send the moderator this thread. Thanks for directing me. I have no problem if Michael isnt allowed back even though that seems a little outrageous, if you guys feel safer I will list the items in the for sale section.

I am not the Mod or one of the Mods who dealt with your grandson, but I just spent about a half an hour reading every single one of his posts here. Please click on the search feature, enter your son's user name in the appropriate space, and read in it's entirety his short but sorry history here.

The bottom line for me is that he showed repeated contempt for our rules and procedures, even and especially when they were pointed out to him.

Unlike e-bay, we charge nothing. We are a community. We moderators are unpaid volunteers. It is a privelege to post here. In my humble opinion (which you will see here shortened to IMHO) your grandson has repeatedly fallen far short of our standards, and is not worthy of enjoying the privelege of AnandTech membership. He has arrogantly wasted our time.

Your pm has been noted. I will let the mod who has had to babysit him up until now decide your collective fate.

Reading through his threads, your grandson is an ass. I wouldn't trade with him even if the mods let him back in, or trade with you simply for your relation to him. Hopefully the mods keep him out.

Darilus that is very innapropriate and rude. He is just a boy and has a lot to learn. His posts did not look bad at all, they actually looked very profesional I am proud of him. I have told him that he must read the rules and make sure before he submits his posts that no rules are being broken, and not to be wise to his elders. Thank you moderator for the update. I will check this site back frequently.

Regards,
Lee

Your "boy" claimed that he was 27.
And i am 27 verified on Paypal.

At that age, there is no excuse for such immaturity or disregard for the rules/guidelines.

In the laptop thread that I looked at, he was politely informed on the rules and indicated that he did not need to abide by them.

The use of false feedback was not allowed; it is deceptive; again he did not seem to care.

If he has so much computer hardware and has frequented e-bay enough, then he should have enough computer savy to understand what a proxie is.

If he still can not figure it out, then use the search features of the internet to look it up.

That's why I quoted the OP. The whole thing sounds fishy.

I have confiscated them from him, they are in my possesion, I will be selling them. Am I talking to a bunch of kids here or a bunch of adults?

Lee

By the way, they are listed on ebay. Check my items for sale.

Editing

This sounds fishy? The items are now listed by a 77 year old lady with 99.7 percent positive feedback on ebay and 26 verified transactions on paypal. Why is everyone so paranoid? You guys really need to mature, im sorry and don't mean to come across rude.

Well it doesn't take much googling to see he has been banned from a few other places too.

Why the great desire to post the items here? There are a ton of other sites.
I won't even get into the whole grandma thing. It is just sad be it true or not.

So you've listed them on eBay and now want to post them here. Perhaps, like your supposed grandson, you should try reading the For Sale/Trade rules.

"She" doesn't need the rules, she's a 77 year old grandma with 99.7% positive feedback on ebay. :disgust:

Pretty unbelievable minendo. I hate to use this language but you are stupid. There will be more computer parts in the future that will be listed and more stuff that we can sell thats not on ebay, I never said i was going to post an ebay link or sell something thats already on ebay.

Please remember your talking to an old lady with proven feedback, I have never ripped someone off in my life. Im just trying to help my grandson make some money so he can buy a car.
