Is selling insurance for a comission profit worth it?
The company claims you can retire in 10 years of selling insurance.

does anyone here sale insurance?
could you explain these things to me.

I can't offer you any specifics, but my cousin tried it earlier this year. He didn't last long, insurance is apparently a tough sell. And he's not stick-to-it-iveness challenged by any means.

its not for everyone.
i work for my aunt that owns her own agency for a well known "in good hands"company.
she/we are very successful and are constantly one of the top producing agencies in the region (IL, IN, OH, MI)
she got her book of busniess from her dad and his business partner after she worked with them for 14 years.
We work our butts off, but i love my job and hope to open my own agency in the next few years.

I do not think the retire in 10 years thing is true though.

I did it for awhile, but if I had to try again, I'd definitely go work for a well-known company, like Allstate, Nationwide, or State Farm, etc.

You can make some real money at the smaller companies, but it takes the right type of person to do it....and most who try, fail.
