I've tried many times to install a wordpress database into my hosting account with network solutions. I've tried the simple install, where I view/choose/install wordpress from the open-source add on's (it says "processing" for two days now, not "setup"); AND i've tried doing a manual install of the database, editing the configuration file and then ftp'ing the files over. Lastly, i've tried installing the database in the root folder and in a /subfolder. All this with no luck. Spent many of hours on simply trying to install wordpress. What gives? I called the support tech, they told me to wait two more days. This cant be right, and NetSol is providing ZERO help.

Thanks in advace for ANY insight. This should be real simple. I've done it successfully many times on Godaddy.

My advice, based on five years of hosting with Network Solutions, would be to immediately drop your account there and seek any other hosting provider, up to and including an out of work relative with a spare server in his bedroom.

Seriously. Move it to Rochen for $12.95/mo. Or anywhere else. NetSol's database performance is beyond terrible.

Thanks. Ultimately might have to move it away from NetSol. This client has an account there and his email there too. Would be nice to leave it all on NetSol with out the extra hassle.
