Of the two issues, the networking is the biggest problem: The motherboard has a RealTech Gigabit card built-in, and this is connected to my router. I get an IP address, but I can't *do* anything - updates didn't work during install, and firefox won't do anything, either. Anybody have any suggestions?
Video is the other issue - it works, but the resolution seems to be a crapshoot. Sometimes when the system boots, the screen pops up at the full 1280x1024. Most of the time though, it comes up at 800x600, and that is as high as it will go. I'm using ATI built-in video on a Gigabyte AM2 mainboard (can't remember the exact model number off the top of my head), and I know there are other drivers for it, but they aren't on the CD - I'll have to download them...which goes back to the networking issue
