Issues with monitor sometimes not coming on?

Ok, so this morning, when I went to turn my desktop on, the monitors did not turn on (I have dual monitors). The monitors didn't even acknowledge that they were connected to the desktop (power light never turned from orange to blue). I tried disconnecting them and toying with them a bit, and at first it didn't seem to help, then eventually, my primary monitor responded. I plugged both back in and it seems to be working ok for both monitors, but earlier today, it happened once again after coming out of hibernate mode.

I tried running a test on my video card to see if there was issues there, but the temperature seems fine and I let FurMark go at it for a good 4-5 mins. or so and the temp leveled of at 99C and stayed there.

Not sure what other tests I can run to find out where the problem is before it goes completely. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

*One thing I did just notice is that when I go to use the colon, the shift button on the left side of my keyboard isn't working with it. Seems to work with all other keys but that one? Could a keyboard issue cause problems with the monitor like this, or could both issues be related to something like the motherboard perhaps?*

Here are my specs:

Updated video card drivers lately?
Are you getting no signal just in the OS, or all the way from the beginning (BIOS load)?

My video card drivers have been updated in the last month or so, but not recently. As far as the BIOS load, I just realized today that when the issues occur with the monitor, I'm also not getting that "beep" from the mobo speaker, which is making me think the source has something to do with the mobo, whether something causing issues with the mobo or the mobo beginning to fail directly. Not sure how to check that though?

Just a thought - you are using (what was a the time) a fairly inexpensive power supply with a video card that requires very close to what your power supply's max rating is. Combine that with a power-hungry CPU, and your power supply may be telling you that it's about done.

What I would try - get a decent 550-600 watt unit from a B&M and try it out before swapping out other parts that would be harder to replace/test.

Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely order that this afternoon.
