Issues with Logitech G7

1 out of 10 times when rebooting, my Logitech G7's mouse cursor will be way slower than what I set it to. When I then go into Logitech's Mosueware settings, the cursor speed will still be what I set it to except that the actual cursor speed is slowed down (hope that makes sense). The issue will either resolve itself while in the Mouseware Settings or after another reboot.

Any ideas how to remedy this without the need of a fresh reboot each time this issue crops up?

You have a G&? That seems kinda shifty if you ask me!

Logitech's drivers have never impressed me - try uninstalling them to see if that fixes it. If it does, maybe there is updated drives to try out?

I agree, I never liked using Logitechs drivers either. In this case unfortunately, if one wants the full functionality of the mouse one pretty much has to use SetPoint. I just updated SetPoint from v2.46 to v2.47 - but I'm not hoping for much as this is the 3rd update since I've had this mouse and I've always had this issue.

What's 'shifty' mean?

EDIT: lmao!! G&...

Yup. That was my (poor) attempt at internet humor. I swear, it was funnier in my head!

Actually it was pretty funny once I got it...

I guess I could try uninstalling SetPoint to see if that really is the issue - although I'd really like to keep it.

I'll see how it goes with the updated driver version first and then decide. In the meantime keep those ideas coming in!

Yes I have noticed this but since I reboot one a month? it's not bother!

At least that tells me the issue is SetPoint - that takes care of part of my worries as I didn't want to have go through painful troubleshooting my RAM and stuff.
