Have you tried to set it at the native res for your TV yet? That would be the first thing you would want to do. Just go into CCC and reset it to factory defaults then set the res to your TV's native res and take it from there.

1:1 pixel mapping on your tv/monitor.
overscan off in drivers.

Use a VGA cable for a yardstick on how it should look. There's no real way you can mess up how VGA signal looks if you've got native res + correct refresh rate.

If your TV also allows for the naming of inputs, it sounds silly, but name the input for HDMI PC or Computer or something equivalent (assuming there are choices.) Usually this eliminates any image tampering on the LCD side.

Btw, try different resolutions around that area.
Namely, 1366 x 768, 1280 x 768, etc.

I had a 30" syntax that was actually true 720p...1280x720. It didn't look good at any other resolution, but when set correctly it was pretty good. 1320x768 isnt right, so look up the actual resolution of your TV and set it accordingly. It should be either 1280x720, 1360x768 or 1366x768, unless its doing 1024x768 square. Post the model number and someone will look it up. :p
