Issues with Gigabyte GA-MA69GM-S2H

I've bought a Gigabyte mainboard (model GA-MA69GM-S2H) with AMD X2 4400+ and 2GB of DDR2 RAM (Kingmax 800MHz).

The board has some problems:
1. It can ONLY detect the IDE drives when the LG DVDRW is master and the Seagate 250GB IDE is slave (or only drives), when the hard drive is master and the DVDRW is slave, it stays forever detecting IDE drives.
2. When started, it won't boot from the hard drive. It will however boot after a reset
3. The network connection won't lit when the network plug is all the way in (only when is about in the middle, but only in some positions). I will change the plug on the network cord trying to solve the problem.
4. The network card doesn't find other computers in the network (only a single neighboor, but ping is working intermittently).

The PSU is a 400W unit with a 12cm fan (a Seasonic I think). It has a sturdy look and is quite heavy.

One more strange thing - the new installation of Windows XP SP2 (with slipstreamed security updates) won't print test pages - shits itself with DEP protection error in Windows Explorer. The printer prints just fine (it's an Canon LBP 1120 on USB connection)
