I udpated my MoBo to the GA-7N400 Pro and have had some problems.
I installed the OS 3 different times, updated the BIOS, Downloaded all the latest drivers from Gigabyte.
I had Samsung 3200 Memory, Saphire 9700 Pro Video Card & Audigy 2 Sound Card.
On the first OS installed, I tried running Easy Tune, both installed off the CD and downloaded and it would run but I didn't have the buttons in the middle that allow me to go from Easy mode to Expert....so I couldn't do any adjusting of clock speeds.
On the second OS install, it won't run at all.... it loads into the system tray but gives me an error every time I try and run it. I then re-installed all drivers with the latest from Gigabyte. No luck.
I found this odd because I am doing a fresh install with the same OS on my GA-7VAXP and it all works like a charm.
I am now going to re-install the OS but put the same video card & memory in that I had in the 7VAXP.
Any ideas?
By the way, one other odd thing is that the Lan card won't even be recognized until you install the board drivers, even though it's set to "Auto" in the CMOS. Maybe it's just to new for windows to recognize.
Thanks for any help... I'm on my last string of sanity.:|
