I'm just about to gut my system and put everything into a shiny new case.
The case purchase was motivated by the eariler impulse buy of an Abit Hot Rod 100 and two 20GB seagate U10 drives. ( I need more space to mount all the stuff I have ;-0 )
Before I go and paint myself into a corner, I was wondering if anybody could give me any points, or warnings about installing one of these beasts. From the reading I've done, it seems they can be a bit tricky to install properly.
In particular, what bios levels should I have the IDE card flashed to, and what drivers should I use.
I'm thinking the cleanest way to do the install is to use a single 10G drive as my boot device, and load the RAID array as a secondary drive set.
