Issues with abit ab9 pro

I cannot for the life of me get this board to boot in dual channel on my ab9 pro. I'm using a pair of crucial ballistix ddr2 800.

When I try to run dual channel ( slots1+3 or slots 2+4 ) I get the c1 error. Slots 1+2 (single channel) works fine. If I use either 3 or 4, I get the c1 error.

I have tried manually loosened timings and increasing voltage to 2.2v.

Does anyone know of a fix or any ideas as to why this is happening?
