Issues with 7970

Hello,

Recently I've been having issues with a Sapphire 7970 Dual X I bought back in May. I'm getting random grey screens while web browsing and I'm having artifacts while playing games (Witcher 2 to be exact).

Initially I had the card overclocked at 1100/1500, but I have since returned the clocks back to stock (950/1400) and am still having the same issues. I've used both 12.6 drivers as well as the beta 12.7 drivers, neither set of drivers have solved the problem. I'm all out of ideas at this point.

I'm thinking the card is defective but I'm not quite sure, if it is does anybody have experience with Sapphire's RMA process (are they fast, helpful etc.)?

Edit: Forgot to include temps (idle is 38 C, load is 64 C)

MSI P67A-GD80
Intel core i5 2500k (@ 4.0)
16 gb g skill ddr3 1600
Sapphire 7970 (stock)
Seasonic X750 750 Watts
OCZ Agility 3 240 gb

I had the gray screen issue with both 12.6s and 12.7 betas, particularly while anything Flash-related started using GPU acceleration. I moved onto these unofficial beta drivers that were linked in this thread: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2260789

They've gotten rid of the gray screens, although I didn't have artifacts in any games before. You could try that before RMAing. There were also some 12.8 beta drivers linked on AMD's site but I can't seem to find them now.
