Hey, first off, I'm sorry if this is the wrong section, I couldn't decide between this and Windows and Computer help, so I just kinda guessed.

Anyways, I recently got sick of using Fedora on my ACER aspire one Netbook, which previously had XP installed, so I am now attempting to put XP back on there. I'm using the aoD250 model, so there is no disk drive, forcing me to install via a USB flash drive. I've followed multiple guides, and right now I'm just using the Nov-Corp Windows to Flash program, because it seems to have the same effect as the others and is much faster. The problem is that when I start the first part of the install process, once it says "Starting Windows" in little gray text at the bottom of the screen, I BSOD with 000007B or whatever that code is. You know the one I mean.

I wiped the drive using KillDisk, and it still has problems. I can install linux fine, but XP is having problems.

I've done a lot of searching around on this issue, and very few people seem to find solutions. Anyone here have any idea what's going on?

IIRC 7B is inaccessible boot device, so if that's really the STOP code you got you need to figure out why XP setup can't find the flash drive.

But installing XP at all these days seems like a problem in itself...
