Issues Opening Hyperlinks

I am nost sure if it was because of an update to my Vista 64 or what, but now I sometimes cannot open hyperlinks in emails, websites and other places.

I have to right click often and open in new tab or new window.

This just started all of a sudden.

Any suggestions on where to look to fix?

what programs are you using to open these links? Do you have the problem in IE as well as Firefox browser?

IE 7.

so IE is the only software that wont open links? trying to determine if its one program or many that wont open links.

This is always a good idea and basic trouble shooting,... to narrow down the problem.

Also,... go into internet options and set security and privacy to default if not already and check that,... also clearing temp inet files and history is not going to hurt,... cookies too,...

Sometimes I have noticed a similar issue that is related to the fact that I block third party and prompt 1st party and don't have session cookies always allowed,... it tends to cut down on junk mail for one, and less info given out for two, but it can create a similar issue on random sites.
