issues on extending desktop

idk what its doing today, but usually, i can drag items to the left, today i have to drag them to right...WHY !!!! i hate moving the mouse all the way to the right to do something.

please help !

also the LCD is connected with VGA.
 
go to display settings. The tab that allows you to change resolution and detect monitors also lets you click/drag the detected monitor around. Just drag one monitor from one side to the other and you should be good.
