Issues Installing OS on my CPU

I tried to install win2k last night but it had a copy error from the disk to the HDD, i don't know what' s up, i have the same system as i did last time i did this, which was like 2 weeks ago, i went from dual boot to single??

i have a asus k7m, i don't know what' sup, i also tried other copies of win2k and it did the same thing???

help!!
 
I formatted my hdd and all...and have partitioned it as well...do i still need to scan for bad sectors??? oh i have done it on another HDD, and it didnt' work either, it gave me the same errors! help anyone?

 
does the K7m have a ata66 or 100 controller on it? did you press f6 at start of install. Man I have had my hard knocks installing win2k.
its possible it isnt finding c: drive cause it is on the other side of the controller it dont know is there
 
it is ata 66 adn it does find C drive and copies stuff on, but it finds some errror as in corrupt files
