Issues installing my new 2GB DDR3 GEFORCE GT710

I have a new graphics card. It is a 2GB DDR3 GEFORCE GT710. I bought it because, according to the box, it has two DVI ports for two monitors. So I figured it would make a good replacement for my last video card since the main feature I most like is having dual screens for my desktop.

But one of the ports has an issue. I wonder how I can explain this in text with out a snapshot pic. I will give it a try. The face of the video cord that attaches to the card consists of a series of little pins. But there is one tiny bar among these tiny pins. This seems to exist to ensure that the connection is made in the proper direction. Now, here is the problem: the tiny bar is surrounded by four little pins and one of the connections on the video card is lacking the four holes for this.

Why is this and what can I do to fix this?
