Issues copying WinXP profiles....

I can get most of the profile copying tricks to work, but if i try to use them when I join a new domain the profiles are jacked up. Some of the old things are there and some aren't. I can't get outlook to even load, the computers like to lock up, I get errors when I right click, thats just a few examples. But if I do this in the same domain everything works great.

Things I have tried; logged in as admin, change the registry to point to the old profile and deleted the SID key. I have also used the copy to in the system properties and renamed the folders. I also made the folders rights to the new users as full control and have the objects inherit the parents folders rights.

Anyother ideas on this?

I've used it but am unimpressed. I like that it catches all the files but it sometimes gets too much for when a user is goign to still use the same computer.

Still having issues with this, right now the way I would like it to work is join the new domain, have the user logon/logoff to create his new profile. Change the profile path for the new profile to point to old one. Give Full rights to the old profile folder for the new user.

When it doesn't work, the task bar looks like win2k style and the start menu is missing items in teh quick acess list. Then i get errors when right clicking.
