Issue with ZoneAlarm when using WinMe!

I just clean installed WinMe and also loaded ZoneAlarm (ver 2.1.44) on it. The problem is when WinMe loads, ZoneAlarm pops up a window that says "ZoneAlarm is Initializing True Vector for Internet Use..." After about 5 to 30 seconds, Z/A loads.

I have all the updated drivers and updates on WinMe...

Any ideas?
