Issue with Steam, never happened till now

When I click on a game link in the Steam store nothing happens at all. I tried re-installing Steam but no luck. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

No, it's running in XP 64 bit.

Weird...I've used xp64 for a couple months and it worked flawlessly.

It has happened to me before, all you have to do is go to the steam website and buy it there. It does the normal stuff that steam does after that.
