Issue With PMs

no major problem.. but after i read and reply the PMs, it still says it's unread.... and when i go to the main page.. it still says 3 new messages...

i pushed ctrl-f5 to make sure it's not loading from the cache at all, and it's doing a clean refresh... doesn't work..
 
I just discovered that you actually have to click the eyeglasses icon "Read" button, instead of the person's username. It is a little confusing, since you can click the person and it brings up the PM history. I just had this happen and when I clicked the icon the message indicator went away.
 
If we mark them as read on the front page that makes no sense, as people will complain that all their messages are read even though they were not. Maybe a mark as read feature on the listing?

That would help. Would it be easy to implement?
 
hmmm i didn't know what the eyeglasses were for.. i just clicked on their name... which showed a list of message history between the two...

That shows the PM history. The glasses actually read the message and mark it as read.
