Issue with Mouse in UT2003?

Hey gang,

I just installed WinXP on my machine and now when I try to play UT2003 my mouse locks up, releases, locks up, releases....just unplayable. It stays locked for 10-15 seconds, then is ok for a few seconds, then locks again. It worked & played fine in Win2K, I don't understand why XP has caused this problem. Any Ideas?

Specs:
T-Bird 1.33ghz
256mb Crucial PC133 ram
GeForce2 MX 400 with Latest Driver
Microsoft Intellimouse

Ok, so I noticed last night that its more than the mouse, its the keyboard too. I've double checked drivers and everything is up-to-date but not beta. I'm going to try the new beta detonator drivers tonight, but does anyone have any other ideas?

mobo drivers? 4 in 1's???

With those system specs I'm actually quite surprised that you are able to run at all. Are you getting hard drive activity during these pauses?

4 in1's are the lastest, 4.43 I believe.

I know its not state of the art, but before I moved to WinXP it played fine....not lightning fast, but very playable. Now I've got these issues.
