Issue with monitor displaying image.. *Solved*

When I first turn on my machine the monitor won't display anything at all, but then if I hit the reset button it will show the appropriate image (BIOS, Windows, etc.). Now I have tried booting my PC with the monitor on first, and turning the monitor on after the boot both of which require a reset before an image is displayed.

Now the weird thing is that for like 2.5 months my system worked normally in the respect, and it just started happening 3-5 days ago. I haven't changed any hardware in the past 3-5 days, the most recent change was my graphics card but that ran normally too when it went in.

I use a DVI adapter to connect my monitor to my card's DVI port, so what could be the problem?

Eh...I don't know why this is the answer but it seems to have fixed it.

I used anothe VGA to DVI converter and everything was better *shrug*.
