fkloster do you have the F500Rs drivers installed? If not then that is your problem.
Download the following..
F500R INF files Open up the file and put them in a folder called 'Sony F500R' , place that folder where ever.
Go to:
Start
Control Panel
Display
settings
advanced
monitor (here it should say Sony F500R , if not coninue on)
properties
driver
update driver
Install from a specific locations
choose the Sony Folder
You should be all set.
1) The link is broke
2) Thanks for the suggestion Bentvalve....so I shouldn't use the WinXP 'Sony GDM-F500R Drivers' ?
EDIT: Ok got the file and will try it tonight....this is what i was looking for thanks bentvalve 🙂 I have been using the WindowsXP drivers for my monitor and with my old Geforce 4600 I could hit 120hz @ 1152x864x32 (my sweet spot for gaming) then I go buy the fancy new Radeon 9700 with its high resolution capabilities and my refresh rate goes down?
