Hi, all! Thanks for looking. I hope you folks can help me out. I recently got in to digital art and quickly came to realize I need two displays (one for my reference image, the other for my canvas). I bought a Samsung 226CW not long ago and still have my Acer AL1916W laying around. I have a 9600GT with the latest drivers powering the whole thing.
Okay, specs aside, here's my problem. I want to have two independent desktops across two monitors at different resolutions. I see I can clone the main display on to the second (which does me no good because then they show the same thing). I can also stretch, but the only resolution option I have is 1280x1024 (which Windows shows as 2048x something or another). Is there a way to make this work? I've gone through both the nVidia menu and the Windows menu and can't seem to figure it out!
Thanks for your help and advice!
