News ISRO sends Moon Rover at the cost of an avengers movie

Is "the cost of an Avengers movie" more or less than a crore or a lakh? You guys and your crazy Indian numbering system.
 
I'm of mixed feelings. It's good to see more countries with real space programs, but at the same time, the gap between India's rich and poor is particularly acute. There are rural dwellers who are thankful if they have one cellphone for the entire family... it sure would be nice if India could spend that kind of money on improving opportunities for its least fortunate.

I think it would actually cost us less than the tax scam. We could send people back there for what it cost India to put this rover on the moon, but we won't because of greed at the top.
