I think that is too simple. Yes it has to do with money as there are a lot of wealthy jewish donors though some support republicans. The bigger problem is this hard lock of associating Israel with Jewish religion and htat is the problem.

The Israel of the last 10 or 15 years has turned sadistic with strong policies of apartheid allowing for unfair justice and genocide of non-jews which go far beyond self defense.

If jewish people could separate the behavior of the Country Israel from religion the problem would be solved but making that break seems difficult to many.

They are 2.4% of the population. Have Jewish friends, who hated Joe Lieberman more than I did.
