JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel published tenders on Thursday for building 323 new homes in two Jewish settlements in the West Bank, defying a U.S.-backed peace plan for the second time this month.

Earlier this month Israel unveiled plans to build more than 600 new homes in Jewish settlements in the West Bank, drawing international and Palestinian condemnation.

From an economic standpoint, this is by far one of the best ways to settle the land. Diffuses the costs associated with clashes with indigenous peoples.

Israel wanted to replace the homes its razed during the Bush/Sharon regime. And everybody knows that Israel will give these homes to the Palestinians when they establish a state and guarantee Israeli security.

As you may find certain quotes by Palestinian leaders calling for the destruction of Israel, I can find interesting things Israeli leaders have said. 🙂
