Once I read the article, I realized they were harvesting from dead bodies. In the 90's.

While this is wrong, I'd hardly classify them as sick animals.

Ok, I'll take the second option in my previous post.

If they where just harvesting organs for kicks then you'd be right. But they where harvesting organs for life saving organ transplants, giving people back their vision and to help treat burn victims. It is no long such a heartless action now is it?

They harvested organs without permission to help others (as misguided as it is) and covered what they where doing by such things as gluing eyes shut so the removed tissue is not visible (I don't get why this would be so outrageous). The donors where already dead.

So this should also serve as a reminder for people to sign organ donor cards (or the equivalent in your country).
