Some of the ignorance in this thread is astounding. Watching YT videos of Refuseniks and other Israelis working for peace lets me know that not all of them are warmongers like every elected gov't they've ever had in their short 60 year history.

And for those of you saying Israel/Palestine can never coexist, they DID coexist very briefly from 1967-1989. Palestinians had FULL freedom of movement, even within Israel, and Israelis lived in (relative, Israel's been at war 24/7 since 1948...) peace. Palestinians start getting treated more and more like second class citizens, more and more settlements are built (Israelis moving into the West Bank/Gaza? Allowed. Palestinians moving into Israel? Not allowed. And the Israelis weren't paying for the land either. Does not compute), and then you get the Intifada. And with the Intifada came more and more backwards behavior on Israel's part in the form of a MISSILE TAX. Yes, Palestinians paid a missile tax for every SCUD Saddam fired during the Gulf War. Their actions have never and will never echo "just wanting to be left alone," they were left alone briefly and then had to ruin it with persecution and settlement.

One side of the story, not very convincing. You can argue how valid it is until you turn blue but it gives only a few seconds to the Israeli side and focuses almost exlucsivly on the pali side, and I count FUBAR settlers as the pali side.

I find it odd that somehow one is required to not support terrorism as the pledge requirement to post on this thread, when the organized violence of an army is much worse and no more worthy of elevating to a virtue or condemning as a vice.

Well thank you palehorse for simplifying where we should stand in this conflict. Since the Jews were the terrorists when the British had the Palestinian mandate, they were the bad guys then and must be the bad guys now.

But wait, some how, because the jews now have an army, they become the good guys, and George Washington and everyone in the country he helped found becomes the bad guys when they were fighting the British. That contradiction in logic does not work well either.

Then maybe we should reject this palehorse logic, and then we should realize that violence is being committed on both sides, and then we should realize that since a fight against injustices has been going on for 60 years now, and that its going to continue until some just settlement is reached. And then realize, neither side is the good guys, we cannot change the past, but we can hope AND WORK, for a more just future that will cause the violence on both sides to stop.

And that calls for some THINKING and impartiality.

I'm not arguing against anything said and some very good questions/points where raised, but they where never explored. This video is a waste of time and you have wasted mine.
