What I predict is tha Israel will try to bog the US down in the special care we are going to show their concerns. Their concerns, I think, will prove bottomless.

I'm sure Hamas will do thier part to try and de-rail things as well.

I have high hopes for this initiative. There seems to be an adequate level of discontent from the extreme elements of both sides to reach an acceptable compromise. Keep in mind that the real strategy is to create a rift in the Palestinians between Arafat/Hamas and the mass of Palestinians and to similarily isolate the Israeli right from the mainstream. So far it seems to be working.
