ISP v.92 modem onhold

Hey, so i'm still using 56k...
And I wanna get rid of my second phone line
So i'm thinking I'd use the onhold feature of v.92 modems (with call waiting from phone company)
Does anyone know which ISPs allow you to be on the phone and connected to the internet at the same time (with v.92 modem) for the longest (before it disconnects from internet)?
If it matters, my area code is 301, and 202 and 703 are also local calls.

Call your local ISPs and see who offers it. Perhaps you're in a bigger area where the ISPs support it but no ISP here does, actually our RAS equipment doesn't support it...

Dude - you need to research what ISP's are available in your area and which ones of those, if any, support v.92.

Google would be a good start.
