To register a TLD costs $15 a year.

There is a lot of offering on the Internet for Web Hosting.

For as little as $8.95 for 6 months you can get space to publish pages with ftp sever and your own email services (no need to forward any thing).

$8.95 x 2= $18 + $15 = $33 for the year

Look at few of these services and choose one that you are comfortable with.

The main differences between services that offer similar space is the level of support. More support more expensive.

If you want to use MS FrontPage as a Site Builder you have to make sure that FrontPage Extensions are available and included in the price.

Few examples:

3-95.com

icdsoft.com

DixieSys.com

Yes, and No!

It does keep the main pages as html, however FrontPage keeps a certain structure and follow-up information that has to be supported by a special arrangement of additional directories, otherwise it get corrupted. The extensions provide these directories on Apache servers.

If you are using FrontPage and you are not using certain functions, it is possible to use it without extensions. It is not full proof but some people risk it.

To totally full proof the usage of FrontPage it has to be published on Win200 Server.

Hosting companies that offer Win2000 servers are usually more expensive.
