Isopropyl alcohol

Can you wipe it on plastic, tv/computer screens, pretty much anything? I was thinking about all the warnings on some things about how not to use certain things and I was wondering if it can be used on practically anything or not.

I'm reading wikipedia about rubbing alcohol (main component is isopropyl) and it said used with great caustion near cuts and abraisions. Does that mean you shouldn't treat your wounds with it or not. Please, serious answers only.

It won't harm most surfaces... It will dissolve some finishes though, such as shellac.

Do you use Isopropyl on LCD monitors or any monitor with a anti-glare coating(it will destory it)

Also if you wear glasses do not use Isopropyl on them as it will destory your anti-scratch coating
