It sure would be interesting to see how far along the manufacture of the Hammer core is coming along. Stuff keeps going into the factory...just waiting for "stuff" to start coming out. ;)

What I want to know is if AMD will ever convert Tbred or Barton to SOI. By then either Tbred or Barton will be the new "Duron."

No, roadmap was changed. Barton will now have 512K of L2 (not just 256K) instead of SOI. SOI is *supposed* to come later...
