Isolating USB devices in VMWare Player

So I'm trying to work two people in on one computer. The idea is to full screen a VM on a second monitor, and isolate a USB mouse and keyboard onto it. I can't seem to find the setting anywhere...am I missing it, or is this only on Workstation?

This worked fine in VirtualBox, but I have to use VMWare because VBox doesn't support hardware acceleration well enough....

This seems like a really bad idea, considering how cheap you can get a machine for.

"Cheap" is a relative term. I don't have the money for another computer, much less one with a GPU powerful enough for this.

Besides, it's a fun project. :)

I think to be able to edit the config you would have to pay or use the eval of Workstation.

It worked absolutely perfectly in virtualbox. If it had better support for Direct3D, I'd be gaming on it with my bro right now. :(

So I'll have to shell out the $$ for Workstation to do this?

With Linux you wouldn't even need VM software, you could just configure 2 copies of X and roll. But you don't have that kind of flexibility with Windows.
