I was looking through Nero, and there is a section of options for burning ISO's. What are they and what are they used for?
 
ISOs are complete disk images of CDs. If you download linux for instance, you'll be downloading 1 file that when burned onto a CD will be a complete disk. Complete disk with all individual files, folders and formatting laid down and ready to go...
