ISO Quad, Quad core MB does this exist, recommendations?

I'm looking to build a new system that will take 4 quad core CPU's
This is to be used for high end digital capture and processing.
- Intel CPU
- 16 - 32 Gigs Max ram
- 1333 FSB
- 2x PCI-X
- 2x PCI Express x16
- 2x PCI
- Serial ATA 3Gb/s (RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, RAID10)

Does a MB for this even exist and does anyone have any recommendations?

Been a good 5 years since my last build so I'm a bit lost with all of the options.

Thanks for any help.

if it has to be an intel cpu, they are supposed to be releasing one with quad independant bus chipset soon for the quad core xeons.

there are tons of amd motherboards that support that, but i think for intel they are still on the prescott based xeon for 4 socket boards (until that new chipset and chips comes out).

it will probably be ridiculously expensive btw.

The only 4 way Quad core processors are the Intel Xeon 73xx series processors. You can only really find them in Servers. There are none that come in 1333FSB, the 73xx series has 1066 FSB though. PCI-e x16 slots are hard to find in a server like that also. SAS is now the most common server hard drive interface, but SATA is also common.

Are you looking for a workstation type PC or a server? You can probably get away with a dual Quad-core workstation system just fine, and I think you can get more of the options you want as well if you go that route.

What are some good dual socket motherboards that supports two Q6600s and PCI-e X16 graphic cards?

you'd have to get a dual 771 board and get some xeon 5 series chips.

expensive.

I'd lood at the dual opteron boards by tyan. They will take two barcelona quad cores. Newegg still has the 1.7 for $214, and the boards start at $242. One board I looked at had 8 memory slots. Ecc ddr2 isn't much more expensive than regular ddr2.
